Just a note of thanks for recent accommodation at Te Mata Lodge. The bush outlook was just what we needed and privacy/seclusion made us feel relaxed. The lodge is ideally placed to explore the area north and east of Thames and we appreciated your guidance in this.

The unit itself was exceptionally tidy, self contained and very comfortable.

Overall Te Mata is one of those places you could easily spend a week and has set a bench mark for what we will be looking for in the future when back on the road. Brian, Christchurch 12/11

Thanks for the New Year Eve BBQ – was very memorable, and a great way to start 2010.  We had a great stay – loved the kayaks and the swimming hole.  The cottage was the most comfortable and spacious accommodation we have had in NZ.  Dan and Caroline, Perth 1/10

This was an ideal place to end our NZ holiday.  Really appreciated the peacefulness to reflect on our New Zealand experience.  Getting the laundry done before we went home was a bonus. We're finally home in the …and I just wanted to write to say thank you for the really  lovely few days we had at Te Mata over Christmas. It was wonderful to be somewhere so peaceful and beautiful and calm - we had the best christmas day we have ever had (individually and as a family!) and we will remember it always.

We loved being at the lodge and all the extra bits you have thought of made it really lovely - kayaks, river shoes, a spade for hot water beach etc.etc.   Thanks also for the Christmas decorations and cake - it was really kind of you and much appreciated (esp. the cake which was delicious!)....and for the night-walk to the glo-worms which the boys really loved.

We had a ball both being in New Zealand and travelling with our children….and we really hope that we'll be back there one day ….and that you'll still be at Te Mata Lodge if/when we make it!
